Rou Reynolds of Enter Shikari asked Stephen to create an electric guitar that reflected both the music style and aesthetic of Shikari, and after weeks of work – the design was formed, and taken to the Ruach workshop.
The guitar itself pays homage to Enter Shikari’s track ‘Revolt of the Atoms’ from their newest album ‘The Spark’. This track features a range of dynamics hence the reason Rou decided to name his new custom guitar the ‘Ruach Revolt’ after playing it for the very first time.
We loved this guitar so much, we decided to develop a new guitar using inspiration from this custom build. Without wanting to loose that “limited edition” touch, we only made 12 guitars in this finish…once these 12 are gone, they are gone.

Ruach Developed Pickups
This Guitar was designed from the ground up by Stephen and Rou, with this, its fresh form and bill of materials called for specially designed pickups to allow this guitar to sing at its best. And so, these pickups were developed specifically for this guitar – and we are proud to call them our own.
Body Shape
We believe this new body we’ve designed is something quite special – something fresh, but not too diverse. This was developed over months in our workshop in Northern Ireland. Small, light and ready for some serious use.
Neck
We hand select each piece of wood for our necks to ensure they meet our strict requirements. The wood is stabilised using our in-house conditioning room, and we then cradle the necks over a 30 day manufacturing period; resulting in exceptionally strong and stable necks. We partnered up this guitar with a 25.5” scale, 22 medium sized frets and a maple neck and fretboard.
Hardware + Electronics
This Guitar appropriately comes fitted with a Schaller Bridge, Schaller Machine Heads and a TUSQ Nut. CTS Pots are housed inside a Copper Faraday Cage to ensure no unwanted frequencies creep into your signal. All of this combined with the attention to detail throughout each and every production process leaves us with an instrument with immense sustain and tone.
30 Days Free Return
We ship the Guitar out to you for free, and if you’re not happy with it within 30 days after delivery – we will arrange our courier to collect it from you and refund you upon its return to our factory.
